Scripturally Based Answers For life's Questions
Answer -Money
Money is one thing that is very difficult to deal with, especially in the matters of teaching about it and handling it properly. It is something so essential to living in this world. It opens so many doors and provides so many opportunities. It seems to be the most essential need in life, and it is essential. CLICK-Ecclesiastes 7:12 says,
“For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.”
It is so important that it seems one cannot survive without it, and yet, God says that it cannot give life like God’s wisdom can.
CLICK-I Timothy 6:10 says,
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
It is the most coveted object in the world, but it is also the most dangerous. Those who allow themselves to fall in love with it will open the door to all kinds of evil and hurt themselves to great extents.
People ask me to give the money daily—most days many times, and I always want to give them when I have money to give—but I don’t have the money to help all those who ask me. Neither would it be right to always give to all, for much only hurt themselves by it, but I can teach something from God’s Word that can help all that have financial needs.
I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in 1999, and in 2000 I went to Thailand on a mission trip. We went into the mountains where there were villages, and some of those villages had a large percentage of people that had received the gospel and had a Christian church in the village. As we traveled from village to village, I could always see as we entered the village if they had already responded to the gospel or not. Those that had received Jesus as their Savior had much better looking houses, smiles on their faces, and looked much more taken care of. They did not receive more money, but they had God looking after them, Him blessing them.
This is what God says,
CLICK-Haggai 1:5-11,
I am not saying that there is an issue in all these areas, but if you suffer unbearable needs, there are issues, and it may be one or more of the following things. Before we try to get things from people, we must always check our personal life. For it is God who cares about our personal lives and manages our provision.
God does take care of His own people, but He has not promised to care for those who have not trusted in Him for salvation. If God is not providing for you, then you may want to start by confirming your salvation.
Salvation is already complete; we must repent and place our faith in the Lord Jesus and receive Him as our personal Savior. We have to be born into God’s family.

Here is a list of verses to consider concerning one’s character:
God always honors faith when the faith is in Him and according to the Scriptures. Those who will move forward trusting Him to provide will find Him doing so. The natural person wants God’s blessing, but separate from having faith in Him or moving forward simply by faith. Living and ministering by faith should not be an extraordinary thing, for God expects all believers to do so.
We often want God to provide for our wants or for a lifestyle that is above the normal lifestyles of the people. We want to show God’s blessing in physical things, and physical things can be a result of the blessing, but we must live a humble life for God to bless.
"GOD RESISTS THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE."—CLICK-James 4:6
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”—CLICK-James 4:10
There are rich people in the world and there are poor people; much of that is a matter of character, but it is also a matter of purpose. It is not God’s plan for all to be rich, for if all were rich, there would be no need for them to give and see their riches as a blessing. God has used many poor people in a great way. Also, there are people who are poor concerning physical possessions, but they are very rich with talent, wisdom and so forth. The truth is, if we are willing to trust God, He will equip us to fulfill our purpose for Him. It may be money, it may be talent, it may be a gift to help others, whatever it is God will equip us for it. Don’t seek riches, seek God’s purpose for your life.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
God provides for those who participate in His work and purpose. When we give, serve and work in His work, He provides all the needs.
We are to work and make money if we can, but having God look after all our needs is a matter of a lifestyle. We must trust Him and then live according to it. Don’t ask people for your needs, ask God and let Him ask the people, and He will if you trust Him. Don’t use Him to get things from people, but give yourself to Him, give Him your heart, surrender control to Him, and let Him be glorified in His care for you.
